Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated November 1, 2026 · Beta draft
This policy explains how to cancel a Supacode plan, when we give refunds and what happens to your account. Transcend Technologies operates Supacode. It adds to our Terms of Service, and nothing in it limits the rights you have under the law where you live.
Cancelling a plan
- You can cancel any time, online, in Settings › Usage & billing: press Cancel subscription, then Yes, cancel. You don't need to call or write to us, and there is no retention step.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to Free. We email you a confirmation with the end date.
- Before you confirm, the page shows what changes on Free. Your credits, projects and published sites stay; Free limits apply to new publishing, adding custom domains, the models you can use and the "Made with Supacode" badge.
- Changed your mind before the end date? For card plans press Keep my plan. PayPal can't restart a cancelled subscription, so use Subscribe again: the new subscription first charges when the old one ends, so you are never billed twice.
- You can also cancel a PayPal subscription in your PayPal account, or a card plan in the billing portal under Manage billing. Either way works the same as cancelling in Settings.
Renewals, reminders and price changes
- Plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly, at the price shown before checkout, until you cancel. You agree to this with a checkbox before you pay.
- We email you before each yearly renewal, and once a year for monthly plans, with the price, the renewal date and how to cancel.
- We email you 7 to 30 days before a price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does. If you are charged a higher price you didn't agree to, you can cancel within 14 days of that charge and we refund the unused part.
Refunds for plans
- When you cancel, we don't refund the rest of a period you have already paid for, except as described on this page or where the law requires it.
- Forgot to cancel before a yearly renewal? Write to us within 14 days of the renewal charge. If you haven't used credits from the new year, we refund that charge in full and end the plan.
- Billing mistakes, such as a double charge or a charge after you cancelled, are always refunded in full.
- Upgrades and downgrades take effect straight away; the difference is prorated on your next invoice rather than refunded.
Credit packs (top-ups)
- A credit pack is a one-off payment, not a subscription.
- You can get a full refund of a pack within 14 days of buying it, as long as you haven't started using its credits.
- When a pack is refunded, its credits are removed from your balance (only credits you haven't spent).
- Credits have no cash value. Credits from plans and packs don't expire while your account is open, including after you cancel a plan; only the Free plan's daily credits reset each day.
Credits for failed AI work
- If an automatic fix fails, the credits for those fix attempts are returned to your balance automatically, and a turn that fails or stops before saving anything is free. These refunds are in credits, not money, and show in Settings › Usage.
EU, EEA and UK customers: right of withdrawal
- You can withdraw from a plan or a credit pack within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Use Withdraw from contract here in Settings › Usage & billing (or go to Settings › Withdraw from contract), or email us.
- You asked for your plan to start straight away, so if you withdraw from a plan we refund what you paid less a proportionate amount for what you used before withdrawing. The plan stops renewing at once.
- For a credit pack, you agreed at checkout that your right of withdrawal ends once you start using its credits. An unused pack can be withdrawn from within the 14 days for a full refund.
- We confirm your withdrawal by email straight away and refund within 14 days of receiving it, to the payment method you used.
How to ask for a refund
- Email support@supacode.io from the address on your account, with the date and amount of the charge. We reply within two business days.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method (card or PayPal). Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
- Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually sort it out faster.
Failed payments
- If a renewal payment fails, we email you and show a notice in the app with a link to update your payment method. Your plan stays active while the payment provider retries.
- If the payment keeps failing, your account moves to Free. Your credits, projects and published sites stay.
Receipts, invoices and prices
- Stripe or PayPal emails a receipt for every payment. Card customers can download invoices in Settings › Usage & billing › Manage billing; PayPal customers find receipts in their PayPal account.
- Prices are in US dollars, and the price shown before checkout is the total we charge. Your bank may add a currency conversion fee.
