Publishing and custom domains
Press Publish in the studio to get a live link. Anyone with the link can open the site, but it isn't listed anywhere unless you add it to the gallery. Publish again to update it. Paid plans can connect a custom domain where the option appears in the Publish menu, and apps that need a server can be deployed to your own Vercel account.
Steps
Publish your site
Open the Publish menu
In the studio, press Publish at the top right.
Publish now
Press Publish now. Supacode builds the site and gives you a live link. Copy it or open the site.
Update the live site
After more changes, open the menu again and press Update live site. You can also put an older version live from the Versions tab.
Connect your own domain
Choose Custom domain, enter a name like www.yourbusiness.com and add the DNS record it shows at your domain provider. HTTPS is set up for you once the record is found.
Deploy apps that need a server
If the app uses server features, the menu says so and offers Deploy to connect your Vercel account and host it there.
Questions
Is my site public after I publish?
Only people with the link can open it. It appears in the gallery only if you turn on Show in the public gallery. Your chat always stays private.
Which plans include custom domains?
Custom domains are part of the paid plans; the Pricing page lists how many each plan includes. The Free plan publishes on a Supacode address.
Can I take a site offline?
Yes. Unpublish it from the Publish menu. Your project and its versions stay in your account.
